Cookie Policy

This website https://oropro.com/ (hereinafter also the “Site”) uses cookies. Boutique del Gioiello S.r.l. invites you to carefully read this Cookie Policy (hereinafter also the “Policy”), issued pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003, as amended, and EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter also the “Regulation”), which sets out the policy of Boutique del Gioiello S.r.l. regarding the use of cookies collected during your browsing of the Site.

Data Controller

The Data Controller is Boutique del Gioiello S.r.l. (hereinafter also “Boutique del Gioiello”), represented by its legal representative pro tempore, with registered office at Galleria Unione no. 4, 20122 Milan (MI), Tax Code/VAT No. 06093180153, Email: info@boutique.it.

Types of data processed, cookies installed and purposes of processing

Cookies are text files that websites (so-called publishers or first parties) visited by the user, or different websites or web servers (so-called third parties), place and store on a terminal device available to the user (i.e. the browser), in order to record certain parameters and data communicated to the IT system.

Internet browsing software and terminal devices may store cookies and then transmit them back to the websites that generated them during a subsequent visit by the same user, thus retaining memory of the user’s previous interaction with the Site.

The information encoded in cookies may include personal data (e.g. IP address, username, a unique identifier or an email address, etc.) or non-personal data (e.g. language settings or information about the type of device the user is using to browse the Site). Therefore, this Cookie Policy must in any case be read together with the Privacy Policy, where further information is available regarding the processing of personal data collected through the Site.

Cookies are classified as follows:

  • Technical cookies, necessary to transmit an electronic communication, ensure proper display of the Site and navigation within it, or provide a service expressly requested by the user. These cookies do not require the user’s consent;
  • Profiling cookies, used to associate specific actions or recurring behavioral patterns in the use of the features offered (patterns) with identified or identifiable individuals, in order to group different profiles into homogeneous clusters of varying sizes. This allows the Data Controller, among other things, to customize the provision of services beyond what is strictly necessary, as well as to send targeted advertising messages aligned with the preferences expressed by the user during web browsing;
  • Analytics cookies, used solely to produce aggregated statistics relating to a single website or a single mobile application;
  • Preference cookies, which allow the Site to remember information that influences how it behaves or appears (e.g. preferred language or the user’s location).

Cookies may also be classified according to their origin, as:

  • First-party cookies, generated and managed directly by the operator of the website the user is browsing;
  • Third-party cookies, generated and managed by entities other than the operator of the website the user is browsing.

This Site uses first-party and third-party cookies, necessary technical cookies and, subject to your consent, analytics, preference and profiling cookies, in order to ensure navigation and service provision, offer you a better digital experience on this Site, collect information on the use of the Site and optimize its operation, as well as display content and advertising consistent with your preferences expressed during browsing, measure advertising content performance and perform ad retargeting.

Through the pages of the Site it is also possible to interact directly with external web services and social networks, including through social buttons (so-called social plugins) and external platforms. These are links that redirect to third-party websites which may record information about the user’s activities (thus falling under third-party cookies).

Legal basis for processing, consequences of refusal and withdrawal of consent

In compliance with current legislation, we may store cookies on your device without requesting your consent if they are technical cookies necessary for the operation of the Site. In any case, it is possible to disable this type of cookie through browser settings; however, disabling them may prevent certain features of the Site from functioning properly.

For all other types of cookies, your consent is required. Such consent is provided after viewing the short information notice displayed upon access, by clicking the relevant buttons within the cookie banner.

Closing this banner will result in the default settings remaining in place and therefore continued browsing in the absence of cookies or tracking tools other than technical ones.

At any time, you may modify or withdraw your consent via the Cookie Declaration on our website in the cookie banner popup.

In any case, you may decide to disable the use of cookies through your browser settings, which allow you to delete and remove cookies (all or some) or change browser settings to block cookies from all or certain websites.

Below are links to the configuration pages of the main browsers: Google Chrome – Mozilla Firefox – Apple Safari – Microsoft Internet Explorer – Opera.

Disabling cookies in the browser settings will not generally prevent use of the Site’s services, except for the possible inability to use certain specific features such as access to restricted areas. Such disabling may also make navigation less functional overall and affect the operation of third-party services.

Methods of processing

The processing of personal data collected through cookies will be carried out by the Data Controller, Data Processors and authorized persons (“Authorized Persons” or “Appointees”), in compliance with all appropriate measures to ensure security and confidentiality, using electronic or automated, IT or telematic tools, in accordance with legal principles, protecting confidentiality and your rights through appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.

Specific and adequate technical and physical security measures will also be adopted pursuant to Articles 5 and 32 of the Regulation, aimed at preventing risks of loss, destruction and unauthorized access.

Retention period

Depending on their duration, some cookies are session cookies and are therefore deleted (together with the data collected through them) at the end of each browsing session; others are stored and then retransmitted during a subsequent visit by the same user.

For the specific duration of cookie retention periods and, consequently, the data collected through them, please refer to the information provided in this Policy regarding the individual types of cookies.

Categories of data recipients

Please note that data collected through cookies may be processed by entities acting as Authorized Persons, independent Data Controllers or Data Processors, whose activities are necessary for carrying out the operations and services related to the processing activities carried out through the Site or who act on the basis of specific legal provisions and obligations.

Any transfers of data collected through cookies to countries outside the EU will take place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission or, in the case of transfers under Articles 46, 47 or 49 of the Regulation, on the basis of the conditions set forth therein and appropriate safeguards, including, where applicable, the execution of standard contractual clauses.

Personal data collected through cookies will not in any case be disclosed.

Your rights

At any time, you may exercise the rights set out in Articles 15 et seq. of the Privacy Regulation, including the right of access, rectification, transformation, blocking, erasure and restriction of processing, in the manner and within the limits established by Article 12 of the Privacy Regulation.

To exercise these rights, it will be sufficient to contact the Data Controller by registered letter or email at the addresses and contact details indicated above, possibly using the forms made available on the website of the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

In the event of a failure to receive a timely response or an inadequate response from the Company, or if you believe that there has been a violation of the applicable legislation, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority in accordance with the procedures and time limits indicated on its website (www.garanteprivacy.it).

This Policy may be amended following reviews and updates – including those related to the entry into force of new regulations or the introduction of technological innovations – therefore we invite you to periodically consult this page.
